I’m a budget coach and I help people who are sick and tired of feeling stressed and overwhelmed by their finances. If managing your money was just about the numbers, we’d all be able to easily do it. I help people create and stick to a personalized budget. Our focus together is on how you can use your money to incorporate more joy, peace, rest and softness into your life. I have 17 years of experience in the social services field working directly with people from various ages, backgrounds and cultures. I also have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

In addition, I also hold many accreditations and certifications:

• I am an Accredited Triple P Practitioner that specializes in child behavior modification strategies and techniques.

• I am a certified Parenting Journey Group Facilitator and have taught many parenting classes and facilitated many parenting support groups.

• I am a certified Resource Parent Curriculum Facilitator that teaches trauma workshops and classes for Adoptive Parents, Foster Parents and Kinship Caregivers.

• I am a certified Seeking Safety Group Instructor for people in recovery from substance use with at least one co-occurring mental health diagnosis.

• I am certified by the Department of Health to do HIV testing and assist newly diagnosed people as they figure out next steps.

• I am certified by the Department of Health to train professionals and community members on how to administer Naloxone (aka NARCAN) during an Opioid Overdose.

• I am TESOL/TEFL Certified qualifying me to teach English as a second language to both adults and children.
